Dr. Miglietta is a Regional Dean and Professor of Surgery at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is the former Chief of Acute Care Surgery at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Prior to that role at Columbia, he served as Chief of the Division of Trauma & Critical Care at New York University School of Medicine and Director of Trauma and Co-Director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the renowned and historic Bellevue Hospital Trauma Center in New York City.


A graduate of New York College of Osteopathic Medicine/NYIT, Dr. Miglietta completed a General Surgery residency at St. Barnabas in the Bronx, NY. He then completed Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowships at the prestigious R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center / University of Maryland. Dr. Miglietta founded and serves as Director of the Homeland Security Mobile Trauma Unit. This unit provided medical care to dignitaries and federal agents in conjunction with the United States Secret Service and Department of State - Diplomatic Security Service. He is an Honorary Police Surgeon providing expert trauma consultation for the New York City Police Department. From 2004 to 2014, he served as the Physician Advisor to the United States Secret Service. He continues to support various federal agencies with medical support.


Dr. Miglietta spearheaded medical education in northern New Jersey by creating 11 residency programs. He is actively involved in educating medical students and residents and served as the Director of Medical Education and Program Director for the Hackensack Meridian General Surgery Residency Program. He has authored and co-authored more than thirty peer-reviewed publications and is dual board certified in Surgery and Critical Care.


As a leader in the profession, Dr. Miglietta serves as Chairman of Surgery at Hudson Regional Hospital as well as New Bridge Medical Center. He practices Robotic & Laparoscopic General Surgery as well as Critical Care. He performed the first robotic general surgery procedures at various New Jersey Hospitals.

Prior to joining Locust Walk, Dr. Fombu held multiple senior leadership roles in drug development, medical affairs, business development & Licensing and digital innovation at some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies including Bayer, Novartis and Johnson and Johnson. He has a track record of successfully launching several drugs in multiple therapeutic areas including but not limited to CNS, Cardiovascular, Immunology, Oncology and Gene Therapy.


Dr. Fambu serves as an external advisory board member at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s nanotechnology ‘MIT.nano’ project. As a medical futurist and 2017 winner of the prestigious New York City Health Business Leaders Boldest Digital Health Influencer Award, Dr. Fombu champions the potential for the internet of things, artificial intelligence and machine learning to revolutionize the healthcare industry.


In addition to his book, The Future of Healthcare: Human and Machine Partnering for Better Outcomes, Dr. Fombu has authored multiple research papers and abstracts in renowned peer reviewed journals. He is a champion and advocate for value-based healthcare, personalized medicine, nanotechnology, blockchain, big data, artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital medicine. 


Dr. Fombu completed his clinical training at Emory-Crawford Long Hospital and holds an MBA from both Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business and Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business. He lives in New York City.

Dr. Nagy-Szakal received her Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Philosophy degree’s from Semmelweis University School of Medicine, Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Nagy-Szakal currently holds a Research Assistant Professor position at the Department of Cell Biology, College of Medicine, SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and the Chief Medical Officer for Biotia Inc., where she is responsible for the clinical molecular diagnostics lab that uses advanced DNA/RNA sequencing techniques and AI-powered reporting for clinical interpretation and pandemic response.  She has a strong background as a clinical physician and impressive experience in microbiology, infectious disease and translational medicine as a post-doctoral research scientist at Texas Children’s Hospital and Columbia University’s Center for Infection and Immunity in New York.


Her industry expertise is deep rooted in academic and translational research with 25+ peer reviewed publications and 2 book chapters in the fields of Microbiome, Neuroscience, Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and Public Health. Mr. Krakowski was CEO and owner of Conure Aviation Group, which specializes in operations, safety, regulatory compliance/operational oversight, security, environment and efficiency. Hank is also senior advisor to Tetra Tech-AMT (Pasadena, CA) and Aviation Safety Technologies (Chicago, IL). 

Mr. Krakowski previously worked as COO of the FAA, where he was responsible for all air traffic operations, both domestic and oceanic. His duties ranged from operations to finance and acquisitions, as well as safety, performance, R&D, and technical operations. 


Hank has also worked in multiple positions for United Airlines, including Director of Flight Operations Control, VP of Corporate Safety, Security, & Quality Assurance and VP of Flight Operations. During his time with United, Mr. Krakowski was responsible for 8,000 employees and a $2B budget. Hank brings decades of aviation experience with contacts throughout the industry.

Chere Heintzmann

Chere Heintzmann is a senior technology executive, holding senior-level roles as President, COO, CMO and CEO with such companies as AT&T Wireless, Disney Mobile, SeaMobile/MTN, iJet Onboard and Unwired Nation. Chere brings to the company an extensive background in leading start-up environments, as well as large companies. Chere spent a few years working with a major VC company as Executive in Residence where she oversaw due diligence and led launch efforts for various technology companies with reporting duties to the Board of Directors and lead investors.


Heintzmann is regarded as an operations optimizing expert with an emphasis on profit maximization and growth efforts and consults frequently within the technology, maritime, oil & gas, aviation, and wireless industries. Mr. King has held numerous senior managerial positions throughout the utility, renewable energy, wireless and textile sales and service industry.


Most recently, King served as COO-CSO for Sunshare a community solar development company based in Denver CO. Prior to this King was Head of Residential Marketing for the U.S. and Canada including five emerging Retail Sales Channels for Direct Energy based in Houston, TX. King also served as Area Vice President for Cricket Communications, VP Regional Vice President of Sales, Distribution and Marketing with MetroPCS, and Midwest Area Vice President for Sprint/Nextel Partners.


Mr. King graduated with a BBA in Operational Management and an MBA in Business Administration, and a secondary concentration in Marketing from American Continental University.

Fernando Lehrer

Mr. Lehrer was Managing Partner at The Maren Group, a Houston-based advisory services firm focused on the maritime and offshore sectors. Previously, he has served as President of London Offshore Consultants (“LOC Inc.”), one of the leading global independent marine and engineering consultancy organizations worldwide.


He also held executive level positions at Lloyds Register (“LR”), where as Vice President of Ship Management Global Solutions, he was instrumental in creating LR’s original maritime digitization strategy; and at ABS, serving as Vice President of Nautical Systems, where he created innovative software solutions for ship operations, and also served in the roles of Director of Marine & Offshore Life Cycle Services and Head of the ABS Marine Casualty Response Center.


Prior to LR and ABS, Lehrer worked as principal surveyor for a leading Hull & Machinery underwriter. He started his career as Project Manager for ship repairs and retrofits. He also is an entrepreneur who has spearheaded numerous maritime software platforms in the fields of e-commerce, maritime procurement, and asset management. Lehrer holds a MSc degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Richard Staropoli

Richard Staropoli spent almost 25 years in the U.S. Government serving as a Special Agent within the US Secret Service, and in the intelligence arena. Staropoli held a number of positions while in the employ of the U.S. Government. After leaving government service, Staropoli was named as the Head of Counter-Party Risk at the Fortress Investment Group, a New York based hedge fund with $80B in AUM. While at Fortress, Staropoli reviewed all deals across Private Equity, Credit & Distressed Debt and Liquid Markets; Staropoli was also responsible for creating and managing the Crypto Currency holdings.


 In 2016, Staropoli was brought back into Government service after being named by the Administration as the first Presidentially appointed Chief Information Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Mr. Staropoli also hold degrees from NYU in mechanical and aerospace engineering.

Bob Blomquist

Bob Blomquist spent 27 years as Marketing and Corporate Media Director at Dell Technologies.  He has over 35 years of Broadcast Media and Film experience working as a producer for CBS and NBC, and Field Producer for Major League Baseball. 


Mr. Blomquist has extensive international experience in film, video production and Media Relations. Bob is the recipient of numerous Telly and Sliver Quill awards. Prior to joining Dell, Mr. Blomquist served on the communication teams at the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Southeast Drilling Corporation (Schlumberger), WMAR(CBS) and Texas Instrument’s. He attended McNeese State University and Towson University, receiving degree’s in Communications and Marketing.


He is an active investor and mentor in the media and mobile technology sector. He is Chairman of the Board at CareBOX Program, a non-profit organization that provides much needed supplies to cancer patients throughout central Texas. Bob is an avid runner, cyclist and competed in numerous 100 mile ultramarathons.
